Race packages, Start lists, Directions, Course Lengths, Schedule , Accommodations

Race packages
Race packages can be picked up at the finish area at any of the three events at the following times:
Sprint: 4:00 pm to 6:15 pm
Classic: 10:00 pm to 12:30 pm
Short: 8:30 pm to 10:30 pm

Participants that chose to pay the entry fees by cash or cheque can do so at the race package pick-up site.

The Maple Ridge Leisure Centre is providing, free of charge, a weekend pass to all BC Championships participants. This pass will be in your race package. The Leisure Centre is open from 8:00am to 8:30 pm on both Saturday and Sunday. More information.

Start lists
Start lists will be posted Monday September 20th, 2004 as previously advertised.

Directions

Sprint
Parking will be available at Nat Bailey Stadium. From there, signs will lead you to the finish area (a maximum of 500 meter).

From Kamloops: Take the Trans Canada Highway (Hwy. 1) towards Vancouver. Take exit 29 and follow signs to Grandview Hwy. Follow this road for around 8km and turn left (south) onto Main Street. Follow Main Street for 1.5km and turn right (west) onto King Edward Avenue. Take a left (south) after 200 meters onto Ontario Street. Follow this road until you see signs for parking.

From Seattle: Take the Interstate 5 Hwy toward Vancouver. Follow Hwy 99 for 30 km until it ends at the Oak Street Bridge. Cross the Bridge and continue north on Oak street. Turn right (east) after 5km onto King Edward Avenue. Turn right (south) onto Ontario Street after 2km. Follow this road until you see signs for parking.

From Tsawwassen. Follow Hwy 17 towards Hwy 99. Turn north-eastwards onto Hwy 99 and follow directions as described from Seattle.

Camping in Maple Ridge
From Vancouver, take Highway 1 east, then Highway 7 east (Lougheed Highway) just before the Port Mann Bridge. Stay on 7 until you approach Maple Ridge. There is a Staples store on the right, and at that intersection bear left onto Dewdney Trunk Road. Follow it to 232nd, turn left and after 4 km turn right (east) onto 132nd avenue. Follow this road for 700m and and turn right onto Fern Crescent. Follow this road until you see the campground on your left.
Classic
From Vancouver, take Highway 1 east, then Highway 7 east (Lougheed Highway) just before the Port Mann Bridge. Stay on 7 until you approach Maple Ridge. There is a Staples store on the right, and at that intersection bear left onto Dewdney Trunk Road. Follow it to 232nd, turn left and after 6kms turn right onto Silver Valley Road and follow the signs for the UBC Research Forest.

From Kamloops, take Highway 1 west from Hope, turn north at exit 90, Abbotsford, and take Highway 11 across the Fraser at Mission. Turn west onto Highway 7 and follow to Maple Ridge. Turn right onto 232nd and follow as above.

From Seattle take I5 to Bellingham and then take the exit to Sumas, and cross the border there (usually very quiet), and follow 11 north to Mission and then as above.
Banquet
The banquet hall is located right next to the camping area.
Short
Same as for the classic.
