Please come out and enjoy the beautiful trails and wilds of Thetis Lake Park.

Description: This meet will offer three courses suitable for all levels of orienteers. Those who are comfortable with the basics of orienteering and looking to build experience can take on the C-2 short intermediate course, while those interested in a challenge can attempt the more advanced courses:

• short intermediate (C-2) - suitable for those with some experience, control flags will be on or near trails
• short advanced (C-4) - for those looking for some good cross country legs and compass work
• long advanced (C-5) - for those who like a longer challenge and compass legs

Location of Registration: Main Beach area, just south of the beach facilities at Thetis Lake Park. Take Old Island Highway and then Six Mile Road into the park.

Event Registration: between 12:30 - 1 pm
Timed Starts between 1:00 - 1:45 pm.

Course Closure: All courses will close by 3:30 pm

Parking: At the main Thetis Lake Parking area. Parking should be free since the summer park period is now over.

Fees: $8 per adult $5 for junior (19 and under) participants
Annual membership: $5 (if not already a VicO member)
First time participants: your membership is free!

Equipment Required: Please bring your own whistle and compass.
If required, whistles may be purchased at registration for $2 and compasses may also be rented at registration for $2. Limited quantity available. If you are participating in either of the advanced courses, leg covering is strongly recommended.
