RESULTS - DETERMINATOR 3 - WEST THETIS LAKE PARK

A much more challenging course this week, in the wilds of Thetis
West, a major test for less experienced orienteers. When hanging
controls in the bucketing rain, we were wondering if anyone would be
mad enough to actually want to compete, but come they did! And
appeared to have fun despite the conditions.Thanks for a great
course, Carl - only two controls were not chosen for the skipped
one! Well done, Hayden, who swept the competition for a second time,
with a scorching run. John and Happy almost dead-heated in second
place, despite quite different routes. Full marks, too, to top
woman, Marcy. Thank you to those who returned in the time allotted,
despite not finding all controls. I hope you learned a lot, and are
looking forward to the nice handicap you'll get for the final race!
